Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service, a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Prior experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hospitality.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to ensure a positive dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems like Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed during busy periods Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables while ensuring quality service Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Follow all sanitation and safety protocols to uphold health standards

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industries is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cashiering and transactions Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Basic understanding of food industry operations, serving techniques, and upselling strategies
