Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverage items.
Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.
Serve meals and beverages in accordance with restaurant standards.
Check on guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
Manage payments, process transactions, and return change or receipts.
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including wiping tables, resetting sections, and restocking supplies.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues when needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Knowledge of food safety practices (a plus).
Experience using a POS system (preferred but not required).
Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
