We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using a point-of-sale system. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Handle payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.

Skills

Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with food service operations and kitchen protocols is an advantage. A willingness to learn about menu items and enhance upselling techniques to assist guests effectively.

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
