Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to sanitation guidelines. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a focus on restaurant experience. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest services. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour
