Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer relations within a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining sanitation standards to ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries or concerns Follow all sanitation and safety protocols related to food handling and service Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS preferred Excellent time management abilities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cashiering and billing transactions Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous Good communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and hospitality standards is a plus Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
