Front of House Staff / Servers

$18 - 19+/hour depending on experience

Part-time, Full time, Permanent

Job location: 2881 Granville st

We are hiring for up to 2 full-time servers a to work at our location at 2881 Granville St, Vancouver.

The restaurant server will be responsible for:

Greeting guests and making them feel welcome all throughout their stay Taking food and drink orders, making suggestions on menu items and specials to our guests

Attending to guests in a timely manner to ensure they have all they need and want
Being a gracious host to our guests, immediately addressing all guests concerns and creating a pleasant dining experience
Delivering exceptional customer service from start to finish
Keeping each zone clean and tidy and free from mess
Fully understanding the idea of halal lifestyle, diet, food and drink
QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong customer services skills required
Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in Arabic or another second language is an asset.
Previous serving experience is required
Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
*Must have legible handwriting

*Ability to use restaurant computers and Point-of-Sale software platform

Wage/Salary:

$18+ per hour starting plus tips, depending on experience

Schedule:

Day shifts
Evening shifts (up to 10pm)
Holidays
On-call
