Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Provide recommendations for food and beverage selections, enhancing the dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices throughout shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is essential.
