Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will enhance our guests' enjoyment and encourage repeat visits.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system. Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables while maintaining attention to detail. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in upselling techniques to maximize guest satisfaction and sales opportunities. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including cashiering and food preparation processes. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts in the food industry. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous experience in kitchen settings is a plus but not required.
