Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and restaurant facilities. Assist with food preparation and ensure all food handling standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Uphold sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
