Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance with food and drink selections. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff while ensuring all special requests are communicated effectively. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately using cash handling and cashiering skills. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during service hours.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Proficient in cashiering and handling transactions accurately. Sense of urgency. Ability to upsell menu items through effective communication and hospitality skills. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and providing outstanding hospitality. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
