We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is a growing breakfast/lunch chain that is looking for WAITRESSES AND HOSTESSES as we continue to expand and grow.

Job Responsibilities:

-prep and set up of workstations and equipment

-serve breakfast and lunch dishes

-ensure that quality control and presentation standards are met

-maintain a clean/sanitized and orderly work environment in the restaurant

-ensure all food/other items are properly stored

-monitor stock/shortages

ProServe (preferred) Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems, specifically Micros POS. Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines. Provide excellent guest services by anticipating needs and responding to requests efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
