Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated daytime lunch Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

We are looking for a competent Restaurant Server to take and deliver orders. You'll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers' experiences.

This role is for a part-time server. Shifts are 11am-4pm.
This position is paid minimum wage, plus tips.

Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and courteous manner

- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation
- Take food and drink orders accurately

- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Upsell menu items and specials to increase revenue
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using a POS system
- Assist with food preparation and ensure food is delivered correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Help with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests

-Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude

-Issue bills and accept payment

Qualifications

-Must have Responsible Servers Certificate
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Familiarity with cashiering duties

- Attention to cleanliness and safety

- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Responsible and trustworthy

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.50 per hour
