Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, excellent food and beverage knowledge, and strong communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS and process transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and service Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and support throughout their dining experience

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests positively Experience in food industry roles such as serving or hospitality is preferred Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and upselling menu items effectively Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
