We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while supporting the overall operation of the restaurant.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering responsibilities, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure excellent customer service
Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols consistently
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
Experience in food industry roles including serving, upselling, and guest services is preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings and weekends as needed
