We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process. Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance the dining experience for guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to sanitation guidelines. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus. Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Basic math skills for processing payments and managing checks accurately. Experience with cashiering duties is beneficial but not mandatory. A willingness to learn about menu items, preparation methods, and upselling techniques is crucial for success in this role.
