We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using the POS system, including Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining spaces throughout the shift. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.

Skills

Proven experience in the food service industry with restaurant experience preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest services and hospitality. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
