We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods
Address guest inquiries promptly and courteously, providing excellent guest services
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout shifts
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
Basic math skills for order accuracy and cash handling
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
Experience with food industry standards including serving, food safety, and food handling practices
Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
