Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including tables, utensils, and workstations Follow food safety protocols during food handling, preparation, and serving Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns professionally

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing transactions accurately Experience in hospitality or the food industry demonstrates an understanding of guest services and serving etiquette Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
