We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing attentive service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and communicate with both guests and kitchen staff will be essential for success in this fast-paced role.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen.
Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to food safety guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns or special requests.
Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Requirements
Previous restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of food service operations.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests.
Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Experience with cash handling and cashiering duties is an advantage.
