Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Ensure cleanliness of tables and dining areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all food handling practices comply with safety regulations. Provide attentive guest services throughout the dining experience, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food service industry is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
