Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. You will be responsible for ensuring that all guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services.
