Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience while efficiently managing orders and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and answering any questions about the menu items. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring that all items meet quality standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils in accordance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, including restaurant experience. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about menu items and restaurant operations. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
