Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from arrival to departure Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to the kitchen and bar staff Provide knowledgeable recommendations, upsell menu items, and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, manage open tables via OpenTable or similar platforms, and process payments with precision Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to sanitation standards in food handling and overall restaurant hygiene Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cash handling Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus but not required Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in serving and guest interactions Basic math skills for accurate billing, cash handling, and transaction processing

Pay: From $15.80 per hour
