Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Serve food and drinks to tables, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any issues or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Process cash handling transactions accurately while adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and guest service standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Excellent guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
