Duties

Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and guest satisfaction Take reservations via phone or online platforms, ensuring accurate recording of guest preferences and special requests Provide attentive service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring timely delivery Handle guest inquiries professionally, offering menu recommendations and addressing concerns promptly Operate POS systems for order processing and billing Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow Uphold high standards of guest relations, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and hospitality skills Support team members during busy periods to ensure a seamless dining experience

Qualifications

Previous host/host or server experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, including clear speaking voice and active listening abilities Familiarity with POS systems. Experience in food service, serving, or hotel guest services is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure Knowledge of restaurant operations, hospitality standards, and guest relations best practices Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills are essential Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
