Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our small restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a server, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, assisting with menu selections, and ensuring that all needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling policies. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and address any special requests from guests. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but

not required.

Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills is essential for success in this role.

Availability:

Seeking a server able to work weekdays from 4-8 pm. Some weekends may be required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
