Duties

Welcome guests with a friendly smile and guide them to their tables, ensuring a smooth seating process. Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen. Provide expert recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings or specials, to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for bills and tips. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety guidelines, proper food handling procedures, and restaurant sanitation protocols.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments Strong knowledge of POS systems Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygiene standards. Experience with food preparation, bussing tables, or host/host duties is a plus. Strong communication skills coupled with basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks.
