Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with industry standards. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. The Server will play a key role in providing a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus promptly upon seating Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety guidelines Assist with basic food preparation when necessary and maintain cleanliness of workstations Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit Monitor tables for guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns Follow all restaurant policies regarding sanitation, safety, and hospitality standards

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and cash handling purposes Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction Capable of upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
