Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining a high standard of presentation. Assist with food preparation and ensure that all food service areas are clean and organized. Process payments and handle cash transactions in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer inquiries or concerns. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide informed recommendations to guests. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in roles related to serving or food preparation. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable. Barista experience is a plus for establishments that serve coffee or specialty beverages. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to serving food and beverages. Pay: $17.20-$18.08 per hour
