Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals. Foster positive relationships with guests by providing attentive service and addressing any inquiries or issues that may arise.

Skills

Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Familiarity with sanitation practices in food service environments. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Previous experience with serving, cashiering, or kitchen operations is preferred but not mandatory.
