Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while efficiently managing orders and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines. Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills to ensure timely service. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen area. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, showcasing familiarity with the food industry. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Understanding of sanitation practices within both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
