Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food service environments. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, managing guest orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow Manage time effectively during busy periods to provide prompt service without compromising quality Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation protocols Basic math skills for cash handling and billing procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Familiarity with food industry standards including food handling, serving, and hospitality best practices Ability to work effectively in a team setting within a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
