Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and possess strong food service skills. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. The Server will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and promoting our menu offerings through excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently

Skills

Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables simultaneously Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling menu items Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and guests Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not required Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and kitchen operations is a plus Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience
