We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is must. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
