Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred but not required. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality standards Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently, including cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while catering to guest preferences Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Familiarity with food handling, food safety protocols, and food industry best practices Ability to work effectively in a team environment within a hospitality setting Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour
