Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with their dining experience to promote customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus promptly Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering responsibilities Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns professionally

Skills

Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling protocols Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous Excellent communication skills for serving guests effectively Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism
