We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math skills are applied. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating knowledge of food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent guest services throughout their visit.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
