Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cashiering duties with accuracy Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in accordance with food safety regulations Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Follow all hospitality protocols to create a welcoming environment for guests

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly desirable Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations Familiarity with food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently Basic understanding of food preparation and serving techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
