Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards during food preparation and service. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to proper food handling guidelines. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communication.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience in a serving role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage. Familiarity with the food industry, including food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. A positive attitude with strong communication skills to engage with guests effectively.
