Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, take accurate orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are preferred. The Server will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus promptly Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring proper presentation Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed Assist with basic food preparation when needed Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely service delivery Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables during peak hours Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred Basic math skills for billing, cashiering, and making change accurately Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance the guest experience Effective communication skills for working with team members and guests Familiarity with food industry standards, serving techniques, and kitchen operations is a plus Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
