Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, demonstrating excellent customer service skills while efficiently managing their time in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Toast Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and sanitation standards are met. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation practices throughout the service process. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.

Experience

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a server role within the food industry. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest services and hospitality. Time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Experience with POS systems, specifically Toast, is advantageous but not required as training will be provided. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
