As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and drink orders using the clover POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items to increase sales while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures.

Skills

Previous experience in the food service industry or fine dining establishments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling. Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations is a plus. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective guest relations and teamwork within the restaurant staff. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
