Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong ability to manage time effectively, and a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests feel welcomed and satisfied throughout their visit.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of service. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service areas. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and cash handling is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Good knowledge in Japanese cuisine Smart Serve
