Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests while maintaining high standards of service. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math for billing purposes. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and kitchen. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is

mandatory

. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
