We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills
Basic math skills for billing, cashiering, and upselling purposes
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Experience with food industry standards including serving, food preparation, and guest services
Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
