We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide knowledgeable recommendations will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining quality standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and credit card transactions. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong upselling skills to enhance guest experiences and increase sales. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food handling safety practices within the food industry. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on helping customers feel valued. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
