We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer relations within a fast-paced dining setting. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. A strong focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork is essential for success in this position.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
Skills
Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for billing and cash handling tasks
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory
Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest services and satisfaction
Food preparation knowledge and kitchen experience are a plus
