Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience by efficiently taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, creating a positive first impression. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and respond to any requests or concerns. Sanitize tables, utensils, and other dining areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and food handling guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle cash and process payments accurately at the end of the meal.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is beneficial. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required by the role.
