Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.
Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order completion.
Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and overall restaurant environment.
Requirements
Must have previous serving experience in a restaurant.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
Experience with POS systems
Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
