Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables and guest needs efficiently. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Strong time management abilities to handle busy shifts effectively. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Familiarity with sanitation practices within the kitchen and dining areas. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to hospitality. Pay: From $17.85 per hour
